Custom internal software and automation.
If an analysis has to happen every week or every month, it should not depend on someone doing it by hand each time. When doing it by hand stops making sense, we build the tool.
That might be a pipeline, an internal tool, an automated report, or the glue that makes two systems talk to each other. The company owns what we build. It is not a product you rent from us or a service you have to keep paying us to run. We also design and build websites.
What our software work covers
- Internal tools built for the people who use them every day
- Data pipelines and scheduled automation
- Automated reporting that replaces manual exports and pasting
- Integrations between systems that were never built to talk to each other
- Advice on choosing and shaping systems that work across more than one site
- Websites, designed and built
- Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, or whatever the company already runs
When companies call us in
The workbook has become the system
A spreadsheet carries the business and only one person understands it. We turn it into software with the same logic, written down and tested.
A team that outgrew its tool
The off-the-shelf tool no longer fits how the company works. We build what is missing, or the system that replaces it.
Systems that do not talk
Data is retyped from one system into another. We connect them so the numbers move on their own.
How the engagement runs
- 01Diagnose. We name the decision, and say what is already good enough to act on.
- 02Analyse or build. Analysis, software, or both. We write down time and scope before starting.
- 03Ship. A read people can use, or a system the company can run.
- 04Review. We sit with the people who decide, then agree what to watch next.

Common questions
Do we have to pay you to keep it running?
No. The company owns the code and the documentation. We can support it afterwards if you want, but the system is built so your team or another developer can run it.
What technology do you use?
Mostly Python, SQL, and PostgreSQL, with dbt, Superset, BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI where they fit. We are not tied to one stack: we work in whatever the company already runs.
How much does it cost?
We quote after a short diagnostic conversation, not from a price list, because the right shape of the work depends on what is actually broken. Time, scope, and stop conditions are written down before the work starts. There is no quote, and no charge, for the first conversation.
What do I need to send to get started?
A few sentences on the situation, by email. You do not need a brief or a clean dataset. We start from the extracts and systems the company already has.
